It discusses the processes of playing with step-by-step directions and also tells you the etiquette of play. It has many pictures and charts to help with the explanation. The book is divided into chapters to allow focus on the different aspects of the game. There is a vocabulary section and a reference section as well. It is a great book to properly learn the skills and strategies of the game. This is a social game and very popular in some circles. Buy it—or give it as a gift to someone who would like to learn the game."

I am dying to learn Mah Jong!!

"I have played the Mah Jongg games on my phone but those are just matching tiles and completing the puzzle. I wanted to learn the real Mah Jongg. I found this book and thought, well this is me, I am a beginner. I just received it, so I can't give you a review on the book as a whole but let me tell you, so far it is so informative. I had no idea about the table etiquette! Wow. Man this will be a lot to learn and absorb but I know I will get it. I like how it is written. It is not overly complicated or difficult to understand. So instruction books are. I cannot wait to learn and join a club/group."
